Babar Azam did such planning to win the T20 World Cup

Pakistan team captain Babar Azam said before the match against India under the ICC T20 World Cup in Dubai on October 24 that for his team, the T20 World Cup is like a home event. The ICC announced the event on Tuesday. It was originally to be held in India, but due to Coronavirus, it has been shifted to UAE and Oman.

Azam said on the ICC website, “The announcement of the T20 World Cup schedule brings us a step forward in our preparations for this much-anticipated global tournament. We will utilize the build-up period by playing home series against New Zealand and England. And Not only will the goal be to fix our final approach, but also to win as many matches as possible so that we can take that winning form and momentum to the UAE.”

Azam said that the T20 World Cup is like a home event for Pakistan as the UAE has been the venue for his team for more than a decade.

Azam said, “We have not only nurtured our talent and developed our side in the UAE, but have beaten the top sides in these conditions to reach No. 1 in the ICC T20 Team Rankings. All the players are upbeat, motivated, and motivated. are enthusiastic, and see this tournament as an opportunity to showcase our prowess. Re-establish our superiority in the shortest format of the game in conditions that best suit us.”
