Team India defeated Australia by 6 wickets in the second T20 on Sunday. In the match, Hardik Pandya played an unbeaten inning of 42 runs off 22 balls and finished the match with a win. Australian coach Justin Langer remembered former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni on this.

Langer said in the press conference – It was a great and incredible innings in terms of match. We know how dangerous he (Pandya) is. We have seen Dhoni before this. Now Pandya has shown the game in the same way.

Indian team got the benefit of experienced players

Langer said that the Indian team consists of many experienced T20 players. This has benefited the team. Langer said, “He (Pandya) has done great batting in the season. In this match too, his innings were excellent. I believe the match was very close. We had good fielding. However, Team India, adorned with experienced T20 players, overturned the match and it overshadowed us. ”

Langer called Kohli the best player

Langer praised Kohli, saying, “Some of Virat’s shots were excellent. I have already been saying that he is one of the best players. Team India got a good start. Kohli then proceeded to play the innings, playing some good shots. Because of this, the team was able to achieve the target. “

Australia had given a target of 195 runs after losing the toss and batting first. In response, Team India scored 195 runs losing 4 wickets in 19.4 overs. Captain Virat Kohli scored 40 runs off 24 balls.

Pandya becoming best finisher: Kohli

After the match, Kohli said- When Pandya came into the team in 2016, his quality was not so good. He used to play natural sports. Now he has improved the game by playing many T20s for IPL and Team India. In the last 4-5 years, he has strengthened himself in the middle order. They have proved that they can win the team by playing anywhere. You want finishers and they are showing the best in it.
