Fast bowler Shardul Thakur played an important role in Team India’s victory in the last ODI against Australia. He took 3 wickets for 51 runs in 10 overs. After the match, Shardul said that he had made a strategy to stop the Australian batsmen from playing pull and cut shots, which worked. He also praised T Nataraj and said that the team needs such a fast bowler.

Pull and cut shots prevented from playing

Shardul said, ‘Australian batsmen have played pull and cut shots to score runs against India in the entire series. I did not let them put this shot. I forced him to play straight shots, which proved to be correct. I think sometimes we have luck as well. ‘

He said “‘When Steve Smith was batting, we bowled under a strategy. We played him at the off stump. But the ball going to the leg side hit his bat and he was caught out. It was a great pleasure for me. Smith is a top class batsman. Getting his wicket at the beginning of the match was a big deal.”

Natarajan made a great comeback

Shardul also praised Natarajan. He said, ‘Natarajan is a great bowler. He also did well in the IPL. He also bowled brilliantly in his first match. It shows that they are big players. India needs a similar bowler. He made a great comeback despite scoring runs in the match.

Shardul said, ‘You will share runs in white-ball format. It is important that you come back and prove yourself. You need to bring confidence in yourself so that you can win your team.

Maxwell-Aston split 18 runs in 44th over

Please tell that in the third ODI against Australia, Natarajan made his debut in international cricket. He took 2 wickets for 70 runs in 10 overs in the match. Australia’s Glenn Maxwell and Aston Agar contributed 18 runs during their bowling in the 44th over of the innings. After which Australia needed 39 runs in 30 balls. However, Natarajan bounced back and conceded just 8 runs in the 46th and 48th overs (2 overs).
