Liverpool will attempt to get their Premier League campaign back on track  as they ended four successive defeats with a 2-0 victory over Sheffield United a few days back.

Liverpool Vs Chelsea Recent Form

Liverpool: W-L-L-L-L

Chelsea: D-D-W-W-W

While Chelsea has not tasted defeat recently, Liverpool went through consecutive defeats before winning their last encounter with Sheffield United on sunday. Recent performances of both teams play an important role for fans to predict the outcome of the match and be able to win big through football betting. When it comes to the Premier League, betting on football becomes very popular and brings a lot of punters to the field, as this is one of the most popular leagues to bet on worldwide, not only in the UK. Now we will go over the team news and try to finalize a prediction in this tough decision.

Liverpool Vs Chelsea: Team News

Liverpool

After missing out against Sheffield United for different reasons, both Fabinho and Allison are expected to make a return to the side.

While Alisson was given a break due to personal reasons, Fabinho had some injury on his muscles. Also, Diogo Jota is set to slot back to the starting 11 after missing out on a few matches due to injury.

Chelsea

After missing the match against Manchester United due to thigh injury, Thiago Silva is not yet ruled out entirely but remains doubtful for Chelsea’s clash with Liverpool at the Anfield.

While Marcos Alonso is looking forward to start on the left, Timo Werner could also return. Although Werner’s performances could have generated more goals than he has presently, Werner should be provided the necessary confidence to go all guns blazing and get a goal for the Blues at the Anfield.

Liverpool Vs Chelsea:  Probable 11

Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Ozan Kabak, Robertson; Thiago Silva, Wijnaldum, Jones; Mohamed Salah, Firmino, Diogo Jota

Chelsea: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger; James, Jorginho, Kovacic, Marcos Alonso; Ziyech, Giroud, Timo Werner

Liverpool Vs Chelsea: Prediction

Liverpool is perceivably strong defensively, especially with the return of the goalkeeper Alisson and Fabinho. Though they have not looked as strong as they should this season, they have a front three capable of creating trouble for the Chelsea side.

As Chelsea players are still adapting to Thomas Tuchel’s reign, it is difficult to predict the outcome. For Chelsea too, Defense has improved but they will need to find a way to score more consistently.

Despite no crowds, the match between Liverpool and Chelsea is expected to be a thriller. With an evenly contested match, there will be lots of betting on football for the match between Liverpool and Chelsea.

Prediction:

Liverpool 0- 0 Chelsea
