The Pakistan team, who went on a tour to New Zealand, also suffered a loss in the second T20. In this way, New Zealand has captured the series with a 2–0 lead in the three T20 matches.

New Zealand achieved the target of 164 runs with 9 wickets remaining due to a 129-run partnership between wicketkeeper-batsman Tim Siffert and Kane Williamson.

Pakistan’s only wicket was taken by Faheem Ashraf. Earlier, Pakistan batted first and scored 163 runs at the loss of 6 wickets.

The final and third T20 matches are scheduled to be played on 22 December. In addition to the T20 series, Pakistan has to play a two-Test series.

The first Test will be played at Mount Moungnui from 26 December and the second Test at Christchurch from 3 January.

Pakistan lost two wickets for 16 runs

In the absence of Babar Azam, captain Shadab Khan won the toss and decided to bat first. Pakistan lost their two wickets for 16 runs.

Hyder Ali returned to the pavilion for eight runs. After that Abdullah Shafiq, who came for batting, also returned to the pavilion without scoring.

After that Mohammad Hafiz, along with Mohammad Rizwan, tried to handle Pakistan’s innings.
