PKL 2019: Haryana Steelers win against champions Bengaluru Bulls

The Haryana Steelers registered their second consecutive win in the seventh season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) by beating the defending champions Bengaluru Bulls 33-30 in a match played at the Ekka Arena on Sunday, with Vikas Khandola’s superb 12 points.
Vikas also completed his 200 raid points in PKL. The Bangalore Bulls were ahead by one point at the end of the first half and scored 17–16.
Defender Vikas Kale did a great job for the Steelers as soon as the second half began.
Kale gave the Haryana Steelers an edge for the first time in the match.


There was a tough fight between the two teams here and there was a possibility of the match being changed.
Both teams were playing safe after half-time had passed.
But Vikas was trying his best to lead the Steelers with five points.
After this, on the basis of successful Raid and superb defense, Haryana registered their third win this season 33-30.
In this match, Rohit Kumar of Bengaluru Bulls completed his 600 Raid Points in Takel.
Vikas Kale took six points in addition to Vikas Khandola for Haryana.
For Bangalore, Rohit Kumar took 12 and Pawan Kumar Sehrawat took seven points.

In the 38th match of the seventh season of Pro Kabaddi League, Telugu Titans registered their first win of the season by defeating Gujarat Fortunegiants.
The Titans had earlier lost five matches. With this victory, the Telugu Titans have got 10 points in seven matches with one win and one tie but they are still at the bottom of the points table.
At the same time, the Gujarat Fortunegiants have won 18 out of 7 matches and have scored 18 points and are currently in the fifth position.

Great performance of Rohit and Pravesh in PKL 2019

Rohit Gulia scored 5 raid points in 11 attempts for the Titans.
Whereas Pravesh Bhainswal played a key role in the team’s victory by getting 7 tackles points in 8 attempts.
The Titans took the lead from the start and increased the score to 17-13, keeping it extended until the first half.
In the second half, Rohit completed his 400th Raid of PKL.
Fortunegiants tried to come back strongly but they could not succeed and the match was finally named to the Titans on a score of 30-24.

Vishal and Siddharth’s efforts were useless

For Gujarat, defender Vishal Bhardwaj scored 7 tackles in 7 attempts but could not postpone his team’s defeat.
At the same time, Siddharth Desai scored 7 raid points in 15 attempts and tried his best to reduce the score difference.
Gujarat will now face Jaipur Pink Panthers on Friday, which will be the last match of Ahmedabad leg.
On Sunday, he will face Haryana Steelers in Chennai.
