Cricket activities have been came to standstill for long time due to enforced coronavirus lockdown across the globe. But now, since the governments have hinted to east the lockdown, the biggest question is how everything can be resumed or restarted.

To follow social distancing norms would be more important than ever in the post lockdown era and hence the gentleman’s game will be restricted to ‘TV only’ game. However, even this transformation of the game is not going to discourage the English players, believes James Anderson.

I’ll be pretty comfortable

In an Instagram chat with teammate Stuard Broad, James Anderson put forth his opinion and said a game ‘behind the closed doors’ wouldn’t bother him as long as everything will be placed with safety concern.

“I think as long as everything is place with safety concerns then I’ll be pretty comfortable playing,” quoted PTI as saying James Anderson.

“We’ve been a part of the England set up for a long time now. We’ve got some great people working on every possibility and outcome from this summer and going forwards.”

It will be similar to County Cricket

In the live chat session, James Anderson added that playing without spectators would not easy but it will not bother him. He said he had already played in some county matches in similar conditions, which will help him post coronavirus scenario.

“To be honest it will be pretty similar to county cricket!” said the 37-year-old seamer.

He also stressed that preparation and training is most necessary to match the level of fitness before playing any international game.
